Compassionate about travel all her life, founder Siv Wadlin was born in Vasterås, Sweden, a town approximately 100 kilometers west of the capital of Stockholm.
As a child growing up in Sweden, Viking Sagas fueled her youthful imagination and gave her an unrelenting curiosity to see the world. Siv’s first adventure was to Norway with her grandparents. Then, at age sixteen, Siv went to live with a family in Paris as an exchange student. Finally, like the Vikings, she came to the New World. Today Siv lives and works in New York, but still calls Scandinavia home.
